Social media is a great way for agents to reach out to clients. When you see an article that would help your clients, sharing it with them is easy.
According to Pew Research Center, 69 percent of Americans used social media as of November 2016, a figure that is likely to keep rising. Even around a third of seniors over age 65 are using social media. Facebook is by far the most popular site – 68 percent of U.S. adults are on it – but Twitter, LinkedIn and other sites all have their followings, too.
You probably already have a few social accounts, but if you don’t, signing up for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other popular sites is easy.
Once you have an account, you want to post to it regularly. Although coming up with content to publish can seem like a lot of work, it doesn’t have to be. One of the easiest ways to provide quality content is to share articles you find online.
To find articles on the PTT Financial website, simply hover over “Consumer Services” in the top right corner. Then click on “Articles for Consumers.”
Once you find an article you want to share, the easiest way to do so is to use the buttons at the bottom of the article, where it says “Share This Story. Choose Your Platform!”
Here, you’ll see buttons for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, Tumblr, Google+, Pinterest, Vk and email. As long as you’re logged into your social media account, simply click on the button for your chosen platform. This will take you to a page that lets you confirm your post and publish it.
This is usually the fastest, easiest way to share an article, but you can also share an article by going through your social media account. To do this, you’ll need the URL for the article you want to share.
Simply copy the URL for the article you want to share. Then paste this into a post and publish it the way you normally do. For example, if you’re using Twitter, type your Tweet and include the copied link.
